Ps2 Action Replay V2 Won't Read Memory Card

Action Replay Max Doesn't Piece of work!!
I just got an Action Replay Max and when I load it into my PS2 information technology says "Please insert a PlayStation or PlayStation 2 format disc". I checked out AR'south website and tried to start the PS2 with the disc already loaded. I even hit the reset push a few times simply nothing. Anybody know what I tin do about this?? I guess I could return information technology to where I got it from but information technology's kind of a hassle.
Thanks for any help or advice.

What version is your PS2?
Is the AR Max the newest 1 with the thumbdrive support?
If it's the older 1 with the dongle (I remember it had a purple dye on mine), you volition have to contact AR to practise an exchange. Information technology wouldn't work on my V9 machine and they were squeamish enough to send me a replacement.

I think my PS2 is a v9 just I'grand not sure. I bought it back in March. My AR Max is not the latest one. It's the one that says "Over 30,000 Cheat Codes" and has similar a bluish dye underneath. It was made in 2003.
Where practise you mail the AR discs to?? Somewhere in Canada?? Too, did they send you lot the latest version?? Thanks for the assist.

Oh, and I didn't receive any dongles with mine. Just some sort of retention card.

Is the console modded? AR Max doesn't work with mine at least.....It would load fine but wouldn't boot the game with or without cheat afterward. The older AR works though.(different code scheme.....)

It sounds the aforementioned as mine. V9/V10 are the 5000x series.
The retentivity card is the dongle. Information technology's tied to the AR Max (you can't employ information technology for anything else). I mailed it to the US (cost of a US stamp) and they mailed me a new CD. Can you download cheat codes via the Cyberspace with yours?
Anyway if it's a V9, information technology won't read the older crook discs (piracy prevention supposedly). My PS2 is modded and in one case they sent me the new disc, information technology worked perfectly.

yeah, I accept the 5000x serial.. information technology came with a network adapter..
no, my PS2 is not modded.. yes, this sux.. I guess I will have to postal service it dorsum..
how long did it take for you lot to receive your new AR disc?? I guess you have to send the dongle back with it and when I receive my new i the dongle will accept inverse to a usb cardinal type dongle?? thanks once again..

I can't even go the affair loaded and so I don't even have a chance to try and d/fifty new cheat codes.. >

No information technology'southward a totally dissimilar production. They'll ship you the aforementioned AR Max but on a different type of disc that's readable by the V9/V10 PS2. Yous need but send in the CD as you lot'll need the dongle to use the AR Max's codes.
Amazingly, it was a calendar week turnaround fourth dimension. You'll have to contact Customer Service to do this and although it was a pain, the service was first-class so the pain was minimized 
Oh y'all don't need the PS2 modded to work the new disc either. I put the modding matter in since someone insinuated the AR disc didn't work because his organization was modded. If they take an older mod, that may be the instance if they didn't install information technology with the GS/AR option enabled.

Doesn't Datel have support in Canada? I did email them(forgot where I found information technology though since it'southward been a while....probably at codejunkies?) for exchanging the AR Max dongle/mem card considering it crapped. The guy was pretty friendly but they didn't have stock then information technology took a while. Got the new dongle later on few weeks then like problem occured, apparently it's not good with older AR while you tin can you lot apply the older AR dongle with AR Max.(wth?) So they sent me a new older AR dongle and I got 2 dongles now. I is the one-time one and one is the AR Max one.
As for modernistic system non working....no idea if the newer DMS wink fixes that since I don't really use AR Max myself anyway because mostly playing import games and they are notwithstanding using the older AR.

Yes they the AR folks do accept a Canadian branch. I called 3 unlike extensions and nobody picked upward. I gave upwards and went to the U.s.a. support site instead and complained about the lack of diligent support people in the Canadian section. The Us branch dealt with me instead

Do y'all happen to take both the Canadian and US numbers?? I can't seem to find either of them. Well, the instruction transmission lists the 727-431-0650 number simply I don't really want to call long distance. Practise they have an 800 number?? Thank you.
